No, the under construction bridge above Chenab River is all set to astonish you at every moment and to diminish so many world records that were set. The arch-bridge on the Chenab River is India’s first cable-stayed railways’ bridge; it has a structural height of 359 meters. It will surpass China’s Beipan river Shuibai railway bridge; which has a height of 275 meters. It’s Jammu- Udhampur- Srinagar- Baramulla Rail Link (JUSBRL) section of Northern Railway in Jammu and Kashmir.
All set to be the tallest bridge in the world, has the entire hydraulic system is used from Belgaum. And do you know it will 35 meters taller than the Eiffel Tower! The amount of labor put in it is definitely no less than the wonder of earth the Taj Mahal. More than 3200 people have worked in the construction of the bridge at one point. The overall length of the bridge is 1,315 meters. Also because it is a terrorist attack-prone area, it is specially designed to be “explosion-proof”. Also the bridge can withstand up to 8 magnitude earthquakes. It can also bear up wind speeds of 266 kmph. And it is also been designed with a life of around 120 years.
