रामतीर्थ नगर येथे गेल्या अनेक दिवसांपासून कचऱ्याची उचल झाली नाही आणि बऱ्याच वेळा तक्रार करूनही कोणी लक्ष देत नाही यासाठी तेथे जमा झालेला कचरा मनपा कार्यालय समोर टाकून नागरिकांनी प्रशासनाला जागृत करण्याचा प्रयत्न केला.
शहरात स्वच्छता टिकवायची असेल तर पालिकेने दररोज कचऱ्याची उचल करण गरजेचं आहे पण शहर परिसरात हे व्यवस्थित होत नाही यासाठी सामाजिक कार्यकर्ते लोकनाथ रजपूत, रोहित मुरकुटे,प्रताप मोहिते,विनायक खांडेकर व ऋषी सनदी यांनी कचरा जमा करून तो मनपा कार्यालय समोर आणून टाकला आणि निषेध व्यक्त केला.
जनतेच्या वतीने यापुढे असं होऊ नये यासाठी मनपाने दररोज कचऱ्याची उचल करावी तसेच नागरिकांनी सुद्धा कचरा जवळच्या कचरा पेटीत अथवा कचरा गाडीत टाकून मनपाला सहकार्य करावे असे निषेध व्यक्त केलेल्या कार्यकर्त्यानी जनतेला आव्हान केले.
