“Belagavi Bal Bhavan project”
Women and Child Development Minister Laxmi Hebbalkar has announced the construction of a modern and unique Bal Bhavan in Belagavi. The project, estimated at ₹20 crore, aims to surpass the quality and features of Bengaluru’s Bal Bhavan. This initiative promises to be a landmark development for the region.

Prime Location and Facilities
The Bal Bhavan will be constructed on 4 acres of prime land located in the heart of Belagavi, valued at over ₹100 crore. In addition, it will feature:
- Children’s Train
- Fantasy Park
- Learning through Play Spaces
These facilities are specifically designed to offer children a blend of education and recreation. Therefore, it is set to become an ideal destination for young learners in the region.
Additional Infrastructure
Alongside the Bal Bhavan, the government has also sanctioned ₹6 crore for constructing a dedicated building for the Women and Child Development Department. This move further emphasizes the government’s ongoing commitment to enhancing infrastructure in Belagavi.
