As per the revised schedule, IndiGo flights 6E 5237 and 6E 6579 operating on the Belagavi–Delhi route have been cancelled during this period for security reasons. The disruption has affected passengers from Belagavi and nearby districts, especially business travellers, students, and those travelling for urgent purposes.

Belagavi Airport Director Thyagarajan explained that the suspension is due to restrictions on early-morning airspace in Delhi, as the flight departs from Delhi at 5.30 am. Normal flight operations are expected to resume from January 27.
