Belagavi police have arrested a rowdy-sheeter along with six others for performing dangerous stunts using a Thar jeep and motorcycles and uploading the videos on social media.

According to the police, 10 to 15 youths were seen riding in violation of traffic rules on a Thar jeep and performing wheeling stunts. The video was widely shared on social media, prompting the Muragod Police Station in Belagavi district to take suo motu action.
The arrested accused have been identified as Yaragatti town residents Suresh Bhajantri, Jagadish Bhajantri, Manjunath Nadamani, Vinayak Chikkaladinni, Ravi Dadappanavar, Girish Alajja, and Vinayak Pulli.
Police have seized a Thar jeep, a Mahindra Bolero, and motorcycles used in the stunts. Further investigation is underway.
