Belagavi: City police have arrested three YouTubers for allegedly installing hidden cameras inside the house of a woman government officer and blackmailing her using recorded private videos.

According to police, the accused secretly fixed multiple spy cameras inside the house and recorded the officer’s private moments. They later demanded ₹50 lakh, threatening to make the videos public if the money was not paid.
Based on the victim’s complaint, police conducted an operation and arrested the three accused. During the raid, officers seized hidden cameras, video clips, laptops, mobile phones, pen drives, SIM cards, and other electronic devices.
Police said further investigation is underway to find out if more people are involved and whether the videos were shared with others. Authorities have assured strict action against all those connected to the case.
