MP Priyanka Jarkiholi visited the protest site in Kudachi and interacted with the agitators. A memorandum outlining key demands—including starting the railway line from Kudachi, upgrading the railway station, and renaming it as Hazrat Maa Saheb Kudachi Junction—was submitted to the Union government through her. She assured the protesters that the issue would be taken up with the Union Railway Minister.

Shivalingeshwar Swami of Durdundeshwar Math, along with leaders Laxmanrao Chingle, Amit Ghatage, and others, were present during the agitation.

Meanwhile, MP Jagadish Shettar stated that the Railways Department has agreed to revive an earlier proposal for a railway line from Lokaopur in Bagalkot district to Dharwad via Saundatti and Ramdurg. He added that a fresh traffic and feasibility study is currently underway, after which the proposal will be submitted to the Railway Board for approval.
