Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU), Belagavi, is hosting a three-day National Conference on Engineering Librarianship (VTUNCEL-2025) starting Thursday. The conference is being organised by the Shri S.G. Balekundri Central Library and Information Centre at the Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Auditorium, Jnana Sangama campus.

T.D. Kemparaju, Executive General Council Member of the Karnataka State Higher Education Council, will inaugurate the event. VTU Consortium Advisor Muttayya Koganuramath will deliver the keynote address, while Vice-Chancellor S. Vidyashankar will preside over the conference.
The conference will feature eight special lectures and the presentation of 72 research papers. More than 200 librarians and Library and Information Science students from various parts of the country are expected to participate, according to a university release.
