Belagavi’s long-cherished dream of direct air connectivity to Mumbai has finally become a reality. IndiGo Airlines will commence its daily flight service between Belagavi and Navi Mumbai starting March 29, 2026.

According to the announced schedule, the flight will depart from Navi Mumbai at 10:20 am and arrive in Belagavi at 11:35 am. The return flight will leave Belagavi at 5:35 pm and reach Navi Mumbai at 6:45 pm, providing convenient travel options for business and leisure passengers.
Member of Parliament Jagadish Shettar said the new service is the result of his personal meeting with Union Civil Aviation Minister K. R. Naidu at his office, along with fruitful discussions held a few weeks earlier with senior IndiGo officials in New Delhi. He expressed his gratitude to the minister and airline authorities for responding positively to the long-pending demand of the people of Belagavi.
Shettar also shared that he is optimistic about IndiGo introducing additional flight services from Belagavi to Chennai and Pune in the near future, further enhancing the region’s air connectivity.
The launch of this new route is expected to boost business, tourism, and overall economic activity in North Karnataka.
