News is altered to make it bearable,
And not that media is not able…
What is put forth is truth no doubt,
And that why we speak only behind,
And in front, we shut our mouth!”
Out of every 10 people you ask about the efficiency of journalists, at least 7 of them will answer very sternly that they aren’t doing their jobs properly or they are just not good enough. However, when these people are asked to even do one of the easiest of tasks that a journalist carries out, they lash out saying that “IT’S NOT OUR JOB”. This is exactly what we want to highlight, what’s not our job, things we don’t know about, we hold no right to question the same. At least not without any reason or proofs against it.
Media is one of the most important source to all the world and still it is always respected less and criticized more. News empowers the informed, which is only why one always needs to be aware and fully prepared to be able to serve the information. And job becomes even more crucial and the power is just translated to a responsibility.
So next time you want to complain about any person in any profession, just remember they must be doing something that we could never think of, they must be working harder than we can imagine. Maybe we sometimes fail to understand the value of the same.
