KLE Society investment in KWIN City

KLE Society, under the leadership of Dr. Prabhakar B. Kore, President of KLE Society, has announced a massive investment of ₹1,000 crore during the Global Investors Meet (GIM-2025) held in Bengaluru. This investment, planned over the next five years, will be directed toward the development of the proposed KWIN (Knowledge, Well-being, and Innovation) City. The initiative focuses on advancing education, health services, and research, creating a benchmark in innovation and service delivery.

MoU Signed for KWIN City
To formalize the project, the society signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Principal Secretary of Industries, S. Selvakumar. Consequently, this became the first official investment announced for the KWIN City project. Furthermore, this initiative is expected to generate 1,500 jobs, significantly contributing to employment in the region.
Additional Investments in Sugar and Ethanol Production
In addition to this, Shivashakti Sugars Ltd., Soundatti, and Inamdar Sugars Ltd., Hirekoppa, announced their plans to invest ₹1,000 crore and ₹250 crore, respectively, for sugar and ethanol production in Belagavi District. As a result, these projects will create an additional 800 jobs within the next two years.
