The state government has already released ₹50 crore as initial compensation, and officials have been directed to distribute the amount and seek approval for the remaining funds.

Overall, the 73-km railway project requires 1,588.79 acres of land, and the total compensation cost is expected to be between ₹600 crore and ₹700 crore. Further land acquisition processes are underway in several villages.
Officials have indicated that delays in fund allocation could impact the project timeline. It remains to be seen whether the state government will allocate the required funds in the upcoming state budget.
