Rajashree Nagaraj Yadav (Halagekar), President of the Maratha Mandal Education Society, has been recognized for her remarkable contribution to the education sector. Under her leadership for the past 18 years, the institution has expanded to more than 40 schools and colleges across Belagavi, Khanapur, and Nippani. She is also known for her social initiatives, including donating land to support special children and organizing a world record event where 15,800 students sang patriotic songs together in 2016.

From the field of folk arts, Sannaningappa Mushennagol of Telginhatti village in Gokak and Pundalik Shastri of Belagavi city have also been honoured.
Sannaningappa, aged 75, has devoted his life to preserving and performing traditional Dollu songs, earning recognition from Akashvani and Doordarshan.
