The Pune-Hubballi Vande Bharat Express, known for its swift and comfortable travel experience, will now stop at Ghataprabha station in Belagavi district. This new stop will benefit passengers traveling from the region to major cities like Hubballi, Dharwad, Belagavi, Miraj, Sangli, Karad, Satara, Kolhapur, and Pune.

Trial Halt and Future Plans

MP Iranna Kadadi proposed adding Ghataprabha as a stop, and the Railway Ministry approved the plan. Initially, the halt will be temporary and on a trial basis. Based on ticket sales and passenger demand, the Railway Ministry will decide whether to make it permanent.


Train Timings and Fare Structure

The Vande Bharat Express connects Pune and Hubballi, operating three days a week. It departs Hubballi at 5:00 AM and reaches Pune by 1:30 PM, completing the journey in 8 hours and 30 minutes. Chair Car tickets start at ₹1,295, and Executive Chair Car tickets (including meals) are priced at ₹2,290.
