Several parents have voiced concerns about the rising stray dog population and the authorities’ failure to take preventive measures.

Angry locals have blamed the municipal corporation for negligence, urging officials to take urgent steps to control stray dogs. Many residents claim that multiple complaints have been lodged regarding the issue, but no action has been taken.

“Children are unable to play safely outside. Stray dogs roam in packs, creating fear among residents,” said a concerned parent from the area. Another resident mentioned that even adults are at risk, as aggressive dogs have been seen chasing pedestrians and bikers.

Authorities Respond to Public Outrage

Following the growing public outcry, municipal authorities have promised to take action. Officials stated that they will conduct a dog-catching drive in affected areas and intensify sterilization efforts to reduce the stray dog population.
