Belagavi, Oct 31: In view of the Karnataka Rajyotsava celebrations scheduled on November 1, 2025, the Belagavi City Police have announced a series of traffic diversions and restrictions to ensure smooth movement during the procession.

According to the official notification, heavy vehicles will not be allowed to enter Belagavi city from 11:00 AM until the end of the procession. Traffic on major routes connecting Chikkodi, Khanapur, and Kolhapur will be diverted through alternate roads, including Hindalga Forest Naka, Gandhi Circle, Shaurya Chowk, and Globe Theatre Circle.
Vehicles from the Central Bus Stand, Khade Bazar, and Congress Road areas will follow designated alternative paths. The police have urged motorists to cooperate and plan their travel accordingly to avoid congestion.
For citizens attending the Rajyotsava parade, designated parking zones have been arranged at:
- Sardar Maidan
- CPED Ground (Club Road)
- Police Department open space behind the Women’s Police Station
- District and New Court premises
The Police Commissioner of Belagavi City has appealed to the public to use alternate routes and follow traffic guidelines to ensure a smooth and safe celebration of Karnataka Rajyotsava 2025.
