District Collector Nitesh Patil instructed for necessary preparations
Belgaum, Feb. 20 (Karnataka News): Hon’ble Prime Minister Narendra Modi will lay the foundation stone of various development works, including the inauguration of the modernized railway station of Belgaum on February 27. In this background, he instructed the officials to make the necessary preparations to conduct the program neatly.
He was presiding over the preparatory meeting held on Monday (Feb. 20) in the hall of the District Collector’s office in the background of the Honourable Prime Minister’s program.
He will participate in the program of various departments including Railways, Agriculture and around one lakh people including beneficiaries are expected to participate.
He discussed security of dignitaries, stage construction, traffic management, parking system and said that necessary preparations should be made to carry out the program neatly without any omission.
Due to the limited time available, the officers of all the departments should adequately handle the responsibilities assigned to them. District Collector Nitesh Patil said that after the outline of the program is finalized, further detailed discussions will be given and appropriate directions will be given.
Speaking on the same occasion, Belagavi City Police Commissioner Dr. MB Boralingaiah explained about the measures to be taken regarding the security system.
District Panchayat Chief Administrative Officer Harshal Bhoyar, Railway Department Senior Officer Mrs. Haritha, DCP Shekhar ST, Additional District Collector KT Shantala, DCP Sneha were present in the meeting.
