2. Participant Initiated Cancellations We offer a limited-window cancellation policy. If you have registered for a competition or event and wish to cancel your booking, you must submit a formal cancellation request within exactly 24 hours from the exact time of your original booking confirmation.
- Requests made within this 24-hour window will be eligible for a full refund, excluding any non-refundable payment gateway processing fees (if applicable).
- Strict Cut-off: Any cancellation requests received after the 24-hour window from the time of the original booking will not be entertained under any circumstances, and no refunds will be issued.
3. Cancellation by the Organizer In the rare event that Marvelous Belgaum is forced to cancel, postpone, or significantly alter an event or competition due to unforeseen circumstances, administrative reasons, or force majeure (acts of God, government restrictions, etc.), all registered participants will be notified immediately. In such cases of organizer-initiated cancellations, participants will be entitled to a full 100% refund of their registration fees.
4. Failed Transactions If a transaction fails during the payment process—where the amount is debited from your bank account or credit card but the booking is not successfully generated on our portal—the debited amount will automatically be reversed by our payment gateway partner (Cashfree) to your original payment method. This automated reversal typically takes 5 to 7 business days.
5. Refund Processing Timelines Approved refunds will be processed and initiated within 2 to 3 business days of the approval. Once initiated by Marvelous Belgaum, please allow an additional 5 to 7 business days for the funds to reflect in your original mode of payment (bank account, credit card, UPI, or wallet), subject to the processing timelines of your specific financial institution.
