Third Gate RoB construction : Belagavi MP Jagadish Shettar has taken decisive steps to resume the stalled construction of the Road Over Bridge (RoB) near LC No. 381 (Tilakwadi Gate No. 3). During his visit to the site, Shettar met with engineers from the Railway Department and the Public Welfare Department. He urged them to fix the construction delays and correct the defects to ensure the second-lane work moves forward smoothly. Third Gate RoB construction : Push for Action on Other Key Projects
Shettar also reviewed the progress of the newly constructed RoB near LC No. 382 (Tilakwadi Gate No. 1). He directed the Railway Department and Municipal Corporation engineers to take immediate steps to advance the project. In addition, Shettar gathered feedback from local residents on the upcoming RoB near LC No. 386 in Tanaji Galli, Belagavi, and promised to prioritize public convenience in the design.
MLA Abhaya Patil, Mayor Savita Kamble, Deputy Mayor Anand Chauhan, former MLA Anil Benake, and city officials actively participated in the site visit. Engineers from the Railway, Public Works, and Municipal Corporation departments joined them to ensure progress on these crucial infrastructure projects.
This push for road infrastructure development is expected to ease traffic and improve connectivity in the city, benefiting both residents and commuters.
