A coordinated encroachment clearance drive was carried out today near Basavana Mandira on APMC Road under the leadership of the ACP (Traffic). The operation involved Traffic Police teams from both the North and South divisions, supported by officials from the city corporation.

The team removed unauthorized stalls, temporary structures, and other obstructions that had taken over the designated cycle track and footpath. The clearance aimed to restore safe and uninterrupted movement for pedestrians and cyclists, who were facing difficulties due to the encroachments.
Officials stated that similar enforcement actions will continue in the coming days to ensure public safety, smooth traffic flow, and the prevention of future encroachments across the area.
