Belagavi: Tilakwadi police have arrested two men in connection with a house burglary in Shivashakti Nagar, Anagol, and recovered gold jewellery worth ₹2,49,260 from their possession.

The arrested accused have been identified as Tushar Maruti Karannavar (22), a resident of Indira Nagar, Anagol, and Yallappa Gajanan Mugali (28), a resident of Raghunath Peth, Anagol.
According to police, the duo allegedly broke into a house in Shivashakti Nagar, Anagol, and stole gold ornaments.
Following an investigation, Tilakwadi police traced and arrested the accused and recovered gold jewellery valued at ₹2,49,260.
The operation was carried out by Tilakwadi PSI Parashuram Pujeri along with his team.
Police Commissioner and Deputy Commissioners of Police appreciated the Tilakwadi police team for the successful operation.
