5.13 Lakh Belagavi Voters Flagged in Roll Revision

Belagavi: More than 5.13 lakh voters in Belagavi district have been flagged under the ASDDO category—absent, shifted, dead, duplicate and other entries—following the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls.

Deputy Commissioner Mohammad Roshan said the draft electoral roll has been published across the district. Of around 41 lakh voters, 35,93,561 have established their eligibility, while notices are being issued to unmapped voters.

Eligible citizens whose names are missing from the draft roll can apply for inclusion through Form-6 with voter registration officers, booth-level officers or the voter service portal.

The district has also identified 119 new polling booths, taking the total number of polling stations to 4,644. The move is aimed at improving accessibility and voter management.
