Belagavi-Bengaluru Vande Bharat Train Gets Approval
Belagavi, April 2025 — The Central Government has approved the much-awaited Vande Bharat Express between Belagavi and Bengaluru, finally turning a long-standing public demand into reality.

Belagavi MP Jagadish Shettar welcomed the move and said the dream of Belagavi’s citizens came true through consistent efforts. Moreover, he noted that the new train would make travel faster and more convenient. It would also give a boost to the region’s development.
“This is a proud moment for all of us,” said Shettar. “I request railway officials to announce the schedule as early as possible.”
The Vande Bharat Express offers speed, comfort, and reliability. In addition, this new route will improve connectivity between North Karnataka and the state capital. As a result, both daily commuters and business travelers will benefit.
