Belagavi-Goa road projects : Delays in Road Projects Highlighted
Despite the approval and funding, the road work has not yet started. Addressing this issue, MP Shettar convened a meeting with National Highways Authority officials in Dharwad. Both routes are crucial for trade and transportation, but their poor condition has hampered vehicle movement, leading to numerous public and business complaints. Shettar urged the authorities to begin the roadwork promptly.
Progress on Belagavi-Hungund-Raichur Road Project
Shettar also reviewed progress on the Belagavi-Hungund-Raichur road project, which is in its initial phase. Officials from the National Highways Authority, including Bhuvaneshwar Kumar, Pavan, Rajashree Jainapur, and Chauhan, were present at the meeting. They updated Shettar on land acquisition and construction efforts.
These projects will enhance trade, tourism, and connectivity, driving economic growth in the region.
