Recent Arrests and Recovery of Stolen Goods by Belagavi Police
As part of these enhanced measures, Commissioner Marbaniang reported that police officials have arrested all suspects linked to recent house thefts. These thefts occurred in Modaga, Honnihal, Hudali, and Khangaon, all under the Marihal Police Station. Authorities recovered:
- ₹7.80 lakh in stolen cash.
- Two two-wheelers from the accused.
Intensified Police Operations to Enhance Security in Belagavi
To further support the Belagavi Police enhance security measures amid the rise in inter-state thefts, Commissioner Marbaniang stressed the need for increased police presence. Key initiatives include:
- Enhanced Police Beat Operations: Officers will conduct more frequent patrols throughout the city. This will help monitor suspicious activities and deter potential thefts.
