Belagavi: MP Jagadish Shettar has announced that the city will host an ‘Ekta Nadige’ (Unity Walk) on November 19, organized in collaboration with the My Bharat initiative to commemorate the 150th birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel.

The Unity Walk will begin at 7 AM from Shivaji Udyan, Shahapur, and proceed through Patil Galli Shani Mandir, Tilak Chowk, and Ramlingkhind Galli, before concluding at Dharamveer Sambhaji Circle.
Speaking at a press conference, Shettar said people across the country trust the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, which has helped the BJP secure recent electoral victories. He accused the Congress of making baseless allegations out of disappointment and stated that the party has been losing support across communities.
Responding to Congress’ doubts about EVM functioning, Shettar said they should file a formal complaint instead of making verbal accusations.
Mayor Mangesh Pawar, Deputy Mayor Vani Joshi, and BJP State Vice President Anil Benake were also present.
