It’s been around a week that the Govt. of Karnataka has officially declared the budget for the financial year 2021-2022. Chief Minister B. S. Yediyurappa, who is also holding the portfolio of finance ministry of Govt. of Karnataka announced the budget in Vidhanasabhe session on Monday, 8th of March. The budget comprises various development projects like infrastructure, public transport and many more. The total allocated budget for the year 2021-22 is 2.46 lakh crore rupees.
What is in for Belgaum?
There was a huge demand for a railway line from Belgaum – Dharwad through Kittur. The central government announced this route in the last budget. Now the state government has provided around 460+ crore rupees for execution and development of this project.
