The college which has been closed for past eight months is now open from 17th. As per the order given by the state government to reopen higher education colleges. An engineering, diploma college was started in Belgaum on 17th following all the SOP guidelines given by the government. But on the first day of starting, the campus of the colleges was completely down, only countable students were seen.
The reason being:- students have been told to have a compulsory covid test report with them, and also to get a letter from their parents, lots of students come from government buses to their respective colleges, since the bus passes are not yet made available to the students, students prefer not to come to college. Classmates and staff members have anxiety about the pandemic, how this is gonna be managed?
Till now 15 teams are been made for covid tests for colleges, alternately students can get their covid test in civil hospital Belagavi. The government has granted us the right to decide whether to proceed with online or offline lessons, both platforms are made available to us. It’s your decision whether to go offline or continue with online
Team Marvelous Belgaum requests all students who have decided to learn offline, to please follow all the guidelines, SOP given by the government and be safe
