To ensure smooth traffic during the Congress centenary celebrations, authorities have revised several routes. They urge citizens to cooperate and follow the updated traffic guidelines.
Traffic Adjustments During Congress Centenary Celebrations
1. Road Closures for Congress Centenary Celebrations:
- Authorities will close Congress Road from 2nd Railway Gate (Tilakwadi) to Maratha Colony on December 26 and 27.
- Drivers can use alternative routes via Goaves Circle and RPD Route.
2. Restricted Access on Congress Centenary Event Days:
- On December 27, only vehicles attending the event can access Channamma Circle, Club Road, Gandhi Circle, Shaurya Circle, Shakti Park, and Global Theater Marg.
3. No Parking Zones for Congress Centenary Celebrations:
- Parking restrictions will apply on Congress Road (Channamma Circle to 3rd Railway Gate) and Club Road (Channamma Circle to Gandhi Circle) on both days.
4. Heavy Vehicle Restrictions During Congress Centenary Events:
- Heavy vehicles will not enter Belagavi from December 26 until the event ends on December 27.
Alternative Routes for Congress Centenary Celebrations
For vehicles entering via Congress Road from Khanapur:
- Use the 3rd Gate Railway Flyover, RPD Circle, Goaves Circle, Bank of India Circle, SPM Road, Bhatkhande School Cross, VRL Logistics, and Old PB Road.
For vehicles exiting towards Khanapur:
- Take Old PB Road, VRL Logistics, Bhatkhande School Cross, SPM Road, Bank of India Circle, Goaves Circle, RPD Circle, and 3rd Gate Railway Flyover.
