Amazing Kittur Utsav Kicks Off with a Grand Folk Parade
The annual Kittur Utsav has officially begun in Belagavi! The celebration, which honors the legendary Rani Chennamma of Kittur, commenced on Wednesday, October 23rd, with
“There are so many,
who work day and night,
To brighten our paths with light!
But we are least bothered
about the lives they risk,
That is full of energy and brisk!
Don’t you think it’s our duty too,
To show some care, and some respect,
Because they are valued is what we need to prove!”
Imagine today, suddenly all your maids decide to stop working, electrician, plumber and all other workers in Belgaum refuse to come. Your bike stops working but no mechanic is available to fix it, tired you reach office, and there is no office boy or anyone to work for you, you need to do all your work on your own! How does it feel like? A complete mess, no maybe a disaster, and you even might have got bit of its taste during the COVID-19 lockdowns.
We have always been dependant on people who work to make our lives better, our tasks easier. Have you ever thought about what would your life be without the people who take up the tasks that seem petty to you? What if everyone would want to take up work that doesn’t include risking their lives or putting any efforts.
Would you still live in peace? Maybe not. Because all of us are so used to having these amazing superheroes here, working for us, risking their lives to make our lives run smoother.
And one among these are the electricians who are not bothered by the constant threat they are into and work for us so that we live in the light.
So here’s a request that we are making. Kindly be kind to all those who work under you. They are the very reason why you can do your work properly and on time. Respect them, they deserve it all. And make sure to never look down at them, because it merely shows about the kind of person you are and does not degrade them.
And special mention of Ithe KEB Team of Belgaum that is always outgoing themselves to make sure we Belgaumites do not face any inconvenience or darkness!! We thank them on behalf of all!
