Hebbalkar, also President of the Malaprabha Irrigation Advisory Committee, stated that the reservoir’s full capacity ensures no water shortage for drinking, livestock, or agriculture, even during the summer. She credited Renuka Yallamma Devi’s blessings for this year’s success.
Development Plans for Naviluteertha Reservoir
In addition to the secure water supply from Naviluteertha Reservoir, Hebbalkar announced plans to enhance the area surrounding the reservoir. These plans include the creation of parks and seating areas for visitors, inspired by the development around the KRS Dam. Local MLAs, including S. H. Konareddy from Navalgund and Vishwas Vaidya from Yallamma constituency, expressed their support for the project.
