Belagavi, March 5: The area within an 8-kilometre radius of Sambra Airport in Belagavi has been declared a Red Zone, according to City Police Commissioner Bhushan Borase.

The Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) has already notified the 8-km radius around the airport as a restricted zone considering aviation safety.
Authorities have strictly prohibited the flying of drones or any Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) within the 8-km radius of the airport, including areas falling under both Red Zone and Yellow Zone.
Police Commissioner Borase warned that strict legal action will be taken against anyone violating the order. Citizens have been urged to follow the guidelines to ensure airport security and safety. ✈️🚫
