Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj had established the kingdom of “Swarajya”. An important component of that Swarajya is the forts built by Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj in 18th Century. These forts were in good condition till 18th century, but over time, these forts have been declining due to foreign invasions. The Bhuikot fort of Belgaum has been no exception.
Preserving these forts is the first duty of every Shivapaika. Conservation of forts has become a need of our duty. The fort servants of Belgaum did not see the fall of the fort of Belgaum.
Durg Seva Group is working on Rajhans fort since 2008. Since last 3 to 4 years, Durg Seva Group is conserving Bhuikot fort in Belgaum as his first duty. On every Sunday, these fort servants are performing their duties. They are doing this for their selfless spirit. Their only interest is that this fort should be conserved.
