It is like a reformation Centre where you have mentors and guides to bring you back to a normal dignified life and teaches one to deal with tough situations rather then going back to the criminal World.
All the female inmates, lady police offers, and Superintendent Of Jail all were happy to be a part of this unique celebrations. Same Day we conducted a Cancer screening camp for a total of 32 female inmates by noted Dr. Sunita Kittali Assistant professor, Department of OBG BIMS, Dr. Sanmathi.
Nursing Officers : Vijayamma, Rajashree were present for camp. Breast examination done for all women, for 1 advice mammography 32 pap smear done, we provided 1 month iron and calcium tablets course for 2 nursing mothers. We provided multivitamin capsules, Iron, calcium tablets and eye drops for elderly ladies Inmates.
Along with this we provided good quality Sanitary Napkins to this ladies. We also organized talent round , group games for this ladies and after competition we handover prizes to them. We provided new sarees and new dresses and baby products for upcoming Ugadi celebration.
We at “Maitri” Belgaum Officers Ladies Club believe when women support each other incredible things can happen. And it happened that day as every human being has the right to live well. So, this Women’s Day we tried to make them “SMILE” for a while. WE succeed to create A magical time for them.
