These forts were in good condition till 18th century, but over time, these forts have been declining due to foreign invasions. The Bhuikot fort of Belgaum has been no exception.
Preserving these forts is the first duty of every Shivapaika. Conservation of forts has become a need of our duty. The fort servants of Belgaum did not see the fall of the fort of Belgaum.
