Smaller steps, bigger change!!!

SMALLER STEPS, BIGGER CHANGE!!!

Kids with loads of love and a vision!

The kids, who still look at their mummy for little things in life, thought for society and stood to be the change.

I love kids, love speaking to them. They are funny, cute and of all they are real. There is nothing made-up or lies, anything that they say is straight from their hearts, so it’s both easy and wonderful to be interacting with kids.

But the best part is that sometimes while in these fun conversations, I learn lessons, life lessons. They change my perspective about things, about people. And I don’t know who would I be, without these little tales of innocence and all hearts!!

One fine day, while in one of such conversations, I heard a story that registered in my mind. Couldn’t believe that who I saw just as kids, could have such unbelievable thoughts. We grown-up have grown too selfish, but the goodness is still not lost.

A tale that changed my perspective of life!

They were holding a paper what looked like a letter, when I enquired about it, they refused to show me. But when I constantly kept on asking for it, finally they gave and what I saw blew my mind, it was a form to confirm the participation of the kids in saving the Street Dogs.

The effect of the pandemic shattered lives, people were worried about different things, the kids more or less happy because schools were shut but the thought process of these kids was on another level, what haunted them were the thoughts of their tiny friends, the lockdown had starved them.

So they made a group and decided to serve the dogs, they collected money, collected the leftover foods from houses and made it a mission to serve the dogs.

And have been serving since then, now it’s become a mission for them, a dream to serve the needy dogs. They are now looking forward to build a house for all the stray dogs to make sure no dog sleeps hungry. And no dog suffers because of lack of resources. They are just kids who we grownups need to learn from.

Nishchal, Prajakta, Raghavendra, Rohit, Nihal, Shourya, Anirudh were the pioneers to start this mission, now a few more kids from their locality have joined hands with them. Let’s learn from these kids how to make little changes, to make a huge difference!
