Belagavi, Feb 14: Belagavi MP Jagadish Shettar has written to Defence Minister Rajnath Singh objecting to the allotment of land for a private wholesale flower
American pharma giant, Pfizer, recently got cleared for its Covid-19 vaccine by the United Kingdom. It will be available from December 2nd week for public use. The Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) approved emergency usage of the Covid vaccine. Pfizer – BioNTech’s vaccine is reportedly 95% effective in curing this illness.
Britain recently locked down for the second time due to Covid-19’s second wave. It was reported that approx 450 people were dying due to Covid-19 every day. “It’s fantastic, repeated trials of this vaccine have helped us to clear this vaccine,” said Johnson, UK prime minister.
Yet, this vaccine is still far from India. As per national media, The government of India and Pfizer – BioNTech haven’t talked with each other on the import and development of vaccines in India.
It is also said that all the vaccines should conduct clinical trials in India to get cleared for public usage. Neither Pfizer nor any of its partner companies have conducted trials in the country. So it is said that Pfizer is far away from India for the Covid vaccine.
During the last 10 days, our PM Narendra Modi has met all the pharma company owners, vaccine developers, and vaccine manufacturers who are leading in developing vaccines for Covid-19 in India. Let us hope for the best and pray that this pandemic should end soon.
