The Belgaum Vaccine Depot also known as Vaccine Institute was started by Captain F.H.G. Hutchinson for manufacturing Small Pox vaccine in 1904 under the then Government of Bombay Province. The institute was shifted to its present premises in Tilakwadi following completion of building construction works in 1909.
It is known for its various type of tree’s,species and insects.
Today morning our team took up a task of cleaning a part of vaccine depot area,It was very disappointing to see the area filled with plastic,Alcohol bottles, wrappers.After our hard work of 3 hours we were able to clear the area.
It’s has been notice in vaccine depot that people gathered there to celebrated their birthdays,Parties and later on leave the area with all the mess.
We marvelous Belgaum team have come up with an initiative of installing Dustbin in vaccine depot,We are looking forward for your donations and support
