Belagavi: The winter session of the Karnataka Legislature, set to begin on December 9 in Belagavi, is seeing intense preparations. District In-Charge Minister Satish Jarkiholi has instructed officials to ensure smooth arrangements. He emphasized the need for proper accommodation, transport, and food provisions to avoid inconvenience.

At a meeting held at the Deputy Commissioner’s office on Saturday, Jarkiholi directed officials to provide clear instructions to food vendors. He also called for deploying medical teams, ambulances, and snack stalls within Suvarna Vidhana Soudha.

Focus on Winter Session Belagavi 2024: Infrastructure and Security

The minister urged officials to expedite road repairs and improve connectivity to the venue for the Winter Session Belagavi 2024. Security at protest sites was also highlighted as a priority. Deputy Commissioner Mohammad Roshan informed that ten committees have been formed to oversee arrangements.

Key officials, including DCP Rohan Jagadish and Additional DC Vijaykumar Honakeri, attended the meeting to review the preparations.

Suvarna Vidhana Soudha: A Hub of Activity

Officials are preparing the Suvarna Vidhana Soudha to accommodate legislators, staff, and media personnel. Teams are arranging facilities such as medical units, rest areas, and dining spaces to meet attendees’ needs. Jarkiholi also instructed supervisors to monitor these arrangements regularly and resolve any issues promptly.
