
Belagavi: BCC Mayor, Deputy Mayor Polls on March 18
Elections for the fourth term of the Belagavi City Corporation (BCC) Mayor and Deputy Mayor will be held on March 18, following an official notification
Public bicycle sharing service, is a service where in bicycles are made available for an individual at a fix price rate and for a particular period of time.
Belagavi is going to have this service soon. Belagavi Smart City Limited has invited tenders for this project and also to see how it has to be designed, build, operate and maintained. This type of system is currently going on in Mysuru and now our city will also have this system soon.
According to the various sources there will be 100 bicycle, 100- electric bicycle, 100 e-bike and 20 stations will be constructed. A particular price has also been fixed for 30mins ride, Rs5 for bicycles, Rs15 for electric bike and Rs20 for e-bike.
For 2 hours, Rs10 for bicycles, Rs40 for electric bikes and Rs50 for e-bikes. For 2 to 4 hours, Rs20 for bicycle, Rs100 for electric bikes and for Rs120 for e-bike services.
Well we are eagerly looking forward for this project as it can bring a certain control towards pollution and growth of the city.
