In another decision, the Cabinet approved the transfer of five acres of land in Murgod village, Belagavi district, to the Murgod Bangle Makers Foundation on a 35-year lease. The land will be used to establish a Common Facility Centre to support the traditional bangle-making craft practiced in the village.

The State government has waived the rent for the leased land and agreed to release its 15% share (₹149.31 lakh) under the revised MSE-CDP guidelines. According to Minister Patil, the bangle-making industry in Murgod employs around 1,240 artisans, and the upcoming facility is expected to enhance their technical capabilities, competitiveness, and long-term sustainability.
