Miss. Namrata Kamu from Belagavi performed splendidly in the International tournament.

World Cup Cestoball Tournament is organized from 21st May to 25th May 2023 for the first time in India, at the Delhi Public School, Bengaluru under the Banner of International Cestoball Federation in collaboration with Cestoball Federation of India. The countries that are participating in the World Cup are India, Argentina, France, Bhutan, Bangladesh and Srilanka.
In the Men’s Section, the Indian men’s Team defeated all the teams belonging to different Countries in the League Matches and secured the top rank, and in the semi-finals Indian Men’s team Secured winners position by defeating the Bhutan team with a score of 44-12 points.
In the Women’s Section,
Indian women’s Team defeated all the teams belonging to different Countries in the League Matches and Secured the top rank, and in the semi-finals, Indian Women’s team Secured the winner’s position by defeating France’s team with a score of 26-40 points.
For the 3rd Position in Men’s section, Bhutan defeated Bangladesh.
And in the Women’s section, France defeated Srilanka.
Final result:
The Men and Women teams of India secured the runners-up position.
In the men’s final match, the Argentina team defeated India with a score of 86-72 points and in the women’s final match team Argentina defeated India with a score of 56-36 points.

Over all the organization of the World Cup Cestoball Tournament was a grand success with the efforts of the Karnataka Cestoball Association with the Cestoball Federation of India.
