Many passengers have complained that the auto rickshaw drivers charge to high without the meter, and some do not agree to drop as they won’t get a return passenger.
The NWKRTC had started the ‘Vajra’ AC bus last year but due to the pandemic the service has been stopped. At present Belgaum airport has seen the passenger movement around 1200 to 1600 on daily basis.
Considering the need of the taxi many have faced the problem. The airport authority Director Rajesh Kumar said that they are looking for operators of car’s on rental basis for the airport passengers to travel home safely.
