Kakati police have arrested a bike thief and recovered 10 stolen motorcycles valued at approximately ₹7 lakh. The arrest followed an investigation into a bike theft complaint registered at Kakati Police Station under Crime No. 257/2025, Section 303(2) of the BNS Act, 2023.

During the investigation, police apprehended the accused, identified as Mujip Manjoor Ahmed Sheikh. Upon interrogation, he confessed to stealing nine motorcycles from different areas. The stolen vehicles were reported from Kakati (3), Hirebagewadi (3), Malamaruti (2), Marihal (1), and Puni Nagar (1) police station limits.
Police have seized all 10 motorcycles from the accused and further investigation in the case is ongoing.
