The injured child has been identified as Nivika Jitendrasingh Rathod. According to residents, the incident occurred on Monday when stray dogs suddenly attacked the girl outside her house, biting her on the hand and abdomen. She was immediately rushed to the district hospital, where she is currently undergoing treatment.

The incident has created fear among local residents, who say the number of stray dogs in the area has increased significantly. Locals claim that the dogs frequently attack women and children and also damage parked vehicles, causing distress both during the day and at night.
Residents have demanded immediate action from the municipal corporation to control the stray dog population and warned of protests if no steps are taken. The incident follows a similar attack reported recently in Azad Nagar, raising serious concerns over public safety as the stray dog issue continues to worsen across the city.
