The SP also appealed to parents to ensure that children do not get involved in such activities, stressing the need to protect public peace and the future of minors.
According to police, 18 people have already been externed in the past one-and-a-half months for posting videos glorifying violence, including clips featuring swords, cake-cutting scenes inspired by movies, and criminal-style content involving children.
Police said surveillance on rowdy-sheeters in the district will continue, and any further violations will invite immediate action.
