
Belagavi Introduces One-Way Traffic on Key Roads

Ever since Covid-19 breakdown all the people around the world are waiting for one thing, and that is the vaccine for the virus. Many of the countries around the globe have already given permission for two various vaccines to be used on the citizens of their respective countries. India is all set to be added in the list of vaccine approved countries.
Karnataka state government has decided to conduct a dry run of covid-19 vaccine.
To plan it well, to implement it well, and to overcome the challenges that might occur post vaccination, state deputy director Rajani Nageshrao said that the dry run would take place in five districts of the state. These 5 districts are Bangalore Urban, Mysore, Kalaburagi, Belagavi and Shivamogga. The dry run would take place in taluk hospital, district hospital and primary health care centre. Around 100 vaccinators and 300 beneficiaries are assumed to participate in this dry run.
This was planned after a high level meeting conducted by Union Health Secretary Rajesh Bhushan. He asked all the states and union territories to gear up for rolling out of Covid-19 vaccination. Rajani Nageshrao also said “once the state is done with the dry run, we will collect the results and challenges that are awkward in the session and we’ll send it to the Union Government for further investigation.
