ಸುಮಾರು 10 ವರ್ಷ ಪೂರೈಸಿದ ಕಿತ್ತೂರಿನ ಸರ್ಕಾರಿ ಪ್ರಥಮ ದರ್ಜೆ ಕಾಲೇಜಿಗೆ ಹೋಗುವ ರಸ್ತೆ ಇದು. ಡಿಗ್ರಿ ಕಾಲೇಜು ಸ್ಥಾಪನೆಯಾದ ವರ್ಷದಿಂದಲೂ ಇಲ್ಲಿಯವರೆಗೂ ಯಾವುದೇ ರೀತಿಯ ರಸ್ತೆ ಮಾಡಿಲ್ಲ ಹಾಗೂ ಈ ಹಿಂದೆ ಈ ರಸ್ತೆ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಕನ್ನಡದ ಒಂದು ಖಾಸಗಿ ಮಾಧ್ಯಮದಲ್ಲಿ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗಾದ ತೊಂದರೆ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ವರದಿ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದರು. ಆದರೆ ಯಾವುದೇ ಪ್ರಯೋಜನವಾಗಿಲ್ಲ ಆ ಮತ್ತು ಈ ಕಾಲೇಜಿನ ಪ್ರಾಚಾರ್ಯರು ಸಂಬಂಧಪಟ್ಟ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಹಲವು ಬಾರಿ ಈ ರಸ್ತೆ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ತಿಳಿಸಿದ್ದರೂ ಯಾವುದೇ ರೀತಿ ಕ್ರಮ ಕೈಗೊಂಡಿಲ್ಲ.
ಈ ರಸ್ತೆಯನ್ನು ಆದಷ್ಟು ಬೇಗ ಸರಿ ಮಾಡದಿದ್ದರೆ ಅಥವಾ ತಾತ್ಕಾಲಿಕ ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆಯನ್ನು ಮಾಡದಿದ್ದರೆ ಮುಂದಿನ ದಿನಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಖಂಡಿತ ಡಿಗ್ರಿ ಕಾಲೇಜಿನ ಎಲ್ಲ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಪ್ರತಿಭಟನೆ ಮಾಡುವುದು ಖಂಡಿತ.
