Under the funding model, the Central Government will provide a grant of ₹3.6 crore (25% of the project cost), while the Cantonment Board will contribute ₹3.6 crore. The remaining ₹7.3 crore will be mobilised through bank loans or Public-Private Partnership (PPP) arrangements, with repayments planned through revenue generated by the completed projects.

The proposal includes five key projects: a commercial complex with lodging facilities near the Belagavi Railway Bus Stand, two food courts at Dhobi Ghat Lake and Head Post Office Road, a shopping and office complex opposite the Honda showroom, and an open-air theatre with a multipurpose hall near the Dhobi Ghat Lake community hall.

According to Board officials, the projects are expected to modernise infrastructure, enhance public facilities, generate employment opportunities, and create sustainable revenue streams, making the cantonment more financially self-reliant. The proposal will now be forwarded for further approvals and implementation under the UCF Scheme.
