Belagavi, Karnataka – A wild cat was recently spotted at the Vaccine Depot in Tilakwadi, opposite Lotus Hospital in Belagavi. The cat appeared sick, hungry, and in search of food. Local residents Adarsh Pawar and his friends quickly recognized that the animal was a wild species and took immediate action. Upon hearing about the situation, Team Marvelous Belgaum immediately contacted the Belagavi Forest Department. The department responded swiftly and dispatched a team to rescue the wild cat. The rescue team safely captured the animal and provided it with much-needed medical attention. The Forest Department confirmed that the cat would receive care and be relocated once fully recovered.
Wild Cat Treatment and Relocation Plans
The Belagavi Forest Department is treating the wild cat and plans to relocate it to Rani Chennamma Zoo after its recovery.
